lots have happened in two weeks.. but first off.. I'm going to be the aunt to a NEPHEW!!! I knew it from day one! so excited! i'll finally be able to have someone that'll watch sports with me and i can take to baseball games with! hehe.. any who.. New Moon party as come and passed.. Crazy! i didn't sleep for almost a week. But everything turned out successful. My cake didn't turn out as well as i would have hoped but it was decent. I'm a perfectionist. the movie.. ::sigh:: as of this point i've seen it 5 times.. and it hasn't gotten old yet. I love it! love it love it love!!! Now i have to wait for Eclipse.. but only 6 months! so exciting! Met Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz again. Good times..
And to wrap up.. the thanksgiving weekend has been awesome.. Thursday was great. Football, Family and Food! then hit up some Friends and saw New Moon later that evening. Friday had to work and then spent the evening alone, relaxing and it was wonderful! Saturday worked and then had girls' night with dinner at Fridays, then New Moon and Rob Pattinson movie's following all with the Twin, Jenny J and Sammie!!! Sammie whom i havent seen in FOREVER! miss her to death.. i wish that my other college friends lived closer.. or would even call back. |

Things have sorta calmed down in my life to where i can finally sit back and breathe.. but i know this won't last long. the next month or two is probably going to be hectic and crazy but extremely fun! the rest of this week is pretty lame. wake up, work, sleep...rise and repeat. this weekend i have to start with some major cleaning. tuesday the 10th im leaving work early to go to the New Moon Tour here in Chicago. I'm finally going to meet Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen)!! She's coming with Kellan Lutz (Emmett) for a Meet N Greet plus Q& A session. I think it's the same set up as the Robert Pattinson Meet & Greet from last year, but i wont know until i get there! My brother, Twin Justina, friend Jenny and I camped out last friday night..outside the mall in Aurora to get our bracelets to meet them. It was cold..but fun! I dont recommend sleeping on mall floors.. they're not comfortable at all! I slept for maybe 3 hrs (non-consecutively) and then went to work as soon as i got my wristband. So excited! then the rest of the week is going to be working and wrapping up and last shopping details for my New Moon Premiere Party! The Twin's birthday is on the 15th..not sure whats goin on there yet.. and then the 19th is the party! Its going to be WAAAY better than my Twilight one last year. About 20 people are coming and the decorations and food are going to be AWESOME! the 20th is my Uncle's Retirement party.. and then it quiets down for the Thanksgiving Weekend.. I have that day off but have to work that friday.. BOO! Following weekend is my birthday.. meh.. No big plans this year. And im ok with that. Im perfectly content with a bottle a wine and a good movie by myself :o) December 13th goin to Chicago for the night to see the amazing Marcus Foster perform! Get to hang out with the my fellow Land of Dreamers (a street team that I'm apart of) and then the 16th is the night that can't come any sooner! 30 Seconds To Mars headlining the Twister Concert Series at the House of Blues.. The Used and another band to be named are opening! I seriously can not wait for that night! I bought 4 tickets.. Two for my brother (an early x-mas present) ..he gets to bring a friend of his choice and then 2 for me.. Not sure who i'm bringing yet but i have a few ideas! Before you know it's Christmas and then the New Year! Crazy how this year has flown by. I guess that's what happens when you're having fun!!!
I have to say with the bumps in the road, 2009 has been a great year thus far. I couldn't ask for anything more. My mom is in recovery!!! She's healthy, a bit moody, but to be expected. My aunt is struggling but she's getting better with every day. and my sister... my sister is making me an aunt!!!! Long story but i'm not going into detail. She's due in April and I couldn't be more excited for her and her boyfriend. I know my sister does things a bit..backwards.. but She's happy and that's all that matters! I feel like things are starting to finally come together for us as a family. 2008 and 2009 were rough years for us... but we made it through. And its because we stuck together. We were there for each other like family should be. We've cried together (more times than i would like to have) but we have definitely laughed a lot too. I have never been so thankful and so BLESSED to have a family like i do.
That's right i said it. BLESSED. I believe that there is a God and He is one of the reasons that we've gotten this far. A friend posted this quote on her facebook earlier today and i believe that it's the truth If God brings you to it, he'll bring you through it... This is so much the truth. I was bitter for quite a while, and i hate to say it that i did have the "why me? why us?" complaint going on, but i see that He had a reason for doing all of this. It was to bring us together as a whole. The baby is just going to bring us closer. I can feel it. Now i'm not jumping on any specific religious bandwagon or anything else. But i can truly say that i'm not an atheist.. I BELIEVE IN GOD, whatever shape or form He takes.
So that's my A.D.D. blog for probably awhile.. unless something interesting or dramatic happens.
