the weekend was well interesting... started off friday headin home with my sister.. registered for my bartending class.. then sat around home... i wasnt home more than 20 minutes when i was ready to leave... but the night got better... went and saw Spiderman 3 with my brother... one word AMAZING... loved it.. it had a lil bit of everything... action, suspense, romance, comedy... love it ...id definitely go see it again... especially for Tobey... mmmmm... hottness... i definitely would jump him if he wears eye liner again.... ::Drool:: i have a thing for these emo boys... crazy.... Jared Leto is definitely one guy too id jump on...fuck... the things id do to that man... anywho.... after the movie i went out for a soda and some hashbrowns with one my friends from high school, Grace... we had deep intellectual conversations on religion and politics and monopoly...monopoly we equated to how life goes... everyone has one fate and that is death... other than that how we play the game is kinda like how we live life... you make that decision whether or not to buy that property.. and that decision can effect the things in your life... kinda weird i know but it made sense to us.....anywho we sat a Denny's... and the people there are grade A quality let me tell you that... ugh.. the weirdest group of people i have EVER seen in my life... eh whatever so.. yea Saturday was my sister's going away party.. that wasnt anything really special.. basically just family and my sister's friends (which are those quality people from denny's..holy shit!) later that night went out with my cousin for a couple drinks... it was fun.. she's 27 and she was tellin me all of her drunk stories and what not from college so it was interesting... btw mudslide martinis are amazing! sunday i was woken up at i swear the buttcrack of dawn.. drove to lake geneva for the charity run.. Team Trish...which is a charity motorcycle run that my dad started last year for a friend and firefighter who was diagonsised with stage 4 colon cancer... she's only 32 and has two little boys... all the money raised was to help her and her family pay for medical bills and such...well we had about 120 registered riders (motorcycles) which was down from last year's 180. saw a lot of people i knew... and alot of people who knew me but i had no clue who they were.. i hate when that happens.. well we do our thing at the bar then headed back to the fire barn where a "party" was being held.. it wasnt really a party but it was a chance for everyone to eat, get together, and raise more money.. we had a 50/50 raffle that was an even $1200.. the winner of that gave her winnings to Trish... we had a raffle which i fortunately won something.. a pedicure/manicure set... which was sweet.. i was really goin for a Kerry Wood autographed picture..but hey cant win em all.. then we had an auction... one of the items was a dinner for 10 with a personal chef who cooked, cleaned, everthing... it went for $1,100! it was crazy! there were also a couple other things that went for a decent buck or two... i was slightly irritated though.. they had TONS of white sox tickets up for auction but no cubs ones.. well there was Brewer tickets and guess what.... WE WON EM! two tickets to June 24th game against the Kansas City Royals in the bleachers PLUS a hotel room for two at any Hilton hotel! and we only paid $120 for em... granted the tickets were only like $40.. it was great... so im goin to the Brewers game... maybe with my dad....maybe with someone else.????? who knows! i just know im goin.. so that was that.. over all we raised $17,300 for Trish which was better than last year's $12,000... it was a great success... a tear or two was shed.. everytime Trish talked i teared up... Trish and I were EMT school buddies.. so we're close but not REALLY close but whatever.. im a sensitive person too... well yea thats my weekend and now im goin to go study ... hell week has offically begun |
